Ella Boh – A MiLLiON DAGGERS
Today, LA-based dark pop artist, Ella Boh, begins a new chapter with the single “A MiLLiON DAGGERS.” Arriving just as she kicks off her headline tour, the new release is danceable, distorted electro-pop. Self-written and self-produced, with co-production from frequent collaborator Stint, Ella is deliberate in every detail that makes up her beautiful and dangerous universe.
Ella shares, “‘A MiLLiON DAGGERS’ is about being numb. When you’ve been let down so many times that you’ve become desensitized to it. It’s about missing the good emotions and even the bad while not being able to feel either anymore.”
Today also sees the release of an official video for “A MiLLiON DAGGERS.” Directed by Sophie Gallagher, the horror-tinged cut perfectly matches the song’s dark, frenzied energy.
At the end of July, Ella released the BLURRY (DELUXE EP) via Bamboo Artists, announced her headline tour, and made her debut Lollapalooza performance. Her shows in LA, NYC, DC, Dallas and Denver quickly sold-out with the Pontiac, Toronto and Atlanta shows following close behind. As a thank you to her fans for their support, she released a searing dream-pop cover of “Careless Whisper” earlier this month. Her strongest release to date, the song sits at over 2 million streams on Spotify alone.
The BLURRY Tour officially kicks off tomorrow night in Chicago, IL, with Psylosia supporting Ella along the way. Her VIP meet and greet has sold-out for the entire tour. After her headline run, Ella will join Artemas for an expansive UK/EU tour to close out the year.
