Paris WYA – Crashing With You
Globally raised pop artist Paris WYA returns with her latest single “Crashing With You,” a dreamy, infectious pop track that captures the rush of falling for someone and letting yourself get swept up in the moment. Blending airy production, shimmering melodies, and Paris’ effortless vocals, the track finds her leaning into a lighter, more carefree side of her sound.
“I wanted ‘Crashing With You’ to capture the feeling of being young, reckless, and completely alive,” Paris WYA explains. ‘It’s about letting go of control and embracing spontaneity without worrying about where it might lead. Sonically, I was inspired by euphoric, emotional dance-pop and artists like Robyn, where something can feel exhilarating and vulnerable at the same time. ‘Crashing’ became a metaphor for surrendering to that feeling and choosing to live fully in the moment.”
That sentiment feels especially fitting for Paris as she steps into a new chapter of her own. Fresh off graduating from business school at Cornell University, she’s now based in LA and pursuing music full time as she embraces the uncertainty and excitement of the unknown. She crafted “Crashing With You” alongside Morgan Taylor Reid (Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCartney), Zac Poor(Nick Jonas, Tori Kelly), and Ameerah Astrid Roelants (JLO, Pitbull). The new single follows a recent string of remixes with LAWRENT and Dawty, marking the latest chapter for Paris following the release of her debut EP MANNEQUIN earlier this year, continuing to showcase her evolving take on pop and her ability to build an immersive world around her music.
A trilingual artist and multi-instrumentalist trained in guitar, piano, and drums, Paris’ sound is shaped by her globally diverse background living across Shanghai, Paris, and New York. She has evolved creatively from her earlier digital-pop projects UNTANGLED (2024) and GLITCH (2025), embracing ethereal arrangements, acoustic textures, and diaristic lyricism while exploring themes of love, heartbreak, self-perception, grief, and clarity through a sharpened lyrical lens.
Beyond music, Paris is equally immersed in fashion and visual art, collaborating with designers including Domen & Van De Velde to develop a cohesive, high-concept aesthetic that extends her creative world. Her background in ballet, jazz, and hip-hop dance further informs her performances, reinforcing her presence as a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves fluidly across sound, movement, and visual expression.
