Ashe – Funeral

Fresh off announcing her much anticipated new album, The Girl Of Your Dreams, Ashe shares a further taste of the new LP with “Funeral.”

Ashe explains that “Funeral” is the final chapter of a story that begins with “Stop The Wedding!” – the first single released from the album that is continuing to skyrocket and has become the biggest solo debut of her career.

“The album starts with me telling a younger version of myself to run from the wrong love, and it ends with understanding a love I never ever want to run away from,” says Ashe. “It’s the first song I’ve ever cried while writing, and I still have a hard time getting through it without becoming emotional. I don’t know who’s dying first, but if it’s me, he’s got one hell of a speech to deliver at my funeral.”

Within the first three weeks of releasing “Stop The Wedding!,” the track has acquired over 15 million streams, has become a Top 50 trending sound on TikTok and is charting on the UK and Ireland singles’ charts.
