Natalie Imbruglia – Algorithm

Natalie Imbruglia releases her new album Algorithm. Algorithm features the singles “Upside Down”,“Just Drive”, “Algorithm” and “Beautiful Love.”

Every track on Algorithm was co-written and co-produced by Imbruglia herself, who also funded the project entirely independently. Among her collaborators on the record are MyRiot (London Grammar), Fraser T Smith (Adele, Dave, Stormzy, Sam Smith), Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, David Sneddon (Lana Del Rey, Hurts), Anu Pillai (Lewis Capaldi, Declan J Donovan), Tobie Tripp (George Ezra), Mark Crew (Bastille, James Arthur) and Dan Priddy (Rag’n’Bone Man, Bastille).

Speaking about the making of the record, Imbruglia said: “On this record I chose to work with collaborators who also co-produce so from start to finish we were all so invested in every song. I really hope that people get as much joy from listening to this record as we did making it. And that they dance their arses off. This was by far the most fun I’ve ever had making a record. It also happened to coincide with the most challenging time I’ve had with my mental health. This is the beauty of music and artistic expression. You can take something dark and turn it into light.”

Her first record in five years, Algorithm follows 2021’s Firebird.
