Kiimi – Lose My Mind

Today, London DJ/producer Kiimi unveils their latest 2-track EP, Lose My Mind, out via HE.SHE.THEY. Records.

Marking Kiimi’s debut on HE.SHE.THEY. Records, Lose My Mind brings together last month’s title-track collaboration with I. JORDAN, brand new track ‘Taste’ and two club-ready edits. Arriving after the launch of Kiimi’s Club Hunni Academy in April, the EP continues a landmark year for the artist, cementing their place as one of the UK’s most distinctive emerging names.
EP opener ‘Taste’, co-produced with Berlin DJ/producer Spray, is a rolling house cut with sunlit momentum, balancing the rush of early summer with the emotional intensity of new obsession. Driven by deep basslines and shuffling drums that bounce between euphoric release and understated intimacy, the track has already earned early support from Peggy Gou, Jamie Jones, TSHA, Solomun, Calvin Harris, Roger Sanchez and DJ BORING.
Kiimi says:
“‘Taste’ came together during a session with Spray, whose music has been a huge inspiration to me over the past couple of years. The original demo was a lot more trance-leaning, but a few days later I was sunbathing in the park, opened my laptop, and started reworking it into a more house-driven version. I fell in love with the simplicity of it, and that became the direction for the track. Lyrically, ‘Taste’ is about the sheer bliss of being in a state of limerence”.
Title track and I. JORDAN collaboration ‘Lose My Mind’ was written with “the sun-kissed shores of Ibiza in mind”. A euphoric, vocal-led club cut delivering high-energy anthemic house through a distinctly emotive lens in the tradition of classic 90s house anthems, rising pads, shimmering synths and an addictive topline are propelled by driving rhythms. Capturing the feeling of disappearing into the moment, ‘Lose My Mind’ is an ode to the freedom and possibility found on the dancefloor.
Returning this year with ”’do u feel it?’, remixes for Fractures and STRAWBRY, and a recent set at Field Day, Kiimi continues to carve their own path on the UK underground and beyond. 2025 saw them nominated for Beatport’s ‘Best New DJ’, invited to speak on both the HE.SHE.THEY. Trans Inclusion Charter panel at IMS and Toolroom Academy at fabric, while delivering standout performances everywhere from Solid Grooves at DC-10 and Ministry of Sound to BBC Radio 1’s Dance Weekend in Ibiza. They also delivered a BBC Radio 1 Future Artists mix and joined Capital Dance for Pride Month programming.
A classically trained musician blending emotional songwriting with club experimentation, Kiimi has earned support from Jamie xx, TSHA, Mano Le Tough, HAAi and The Blessed Madonna, alongside continued backing across BBC Radio 1 from Jaguar, Danny Howard, Jess Iszatt and BBC Introducing. Named as part of Rinse FM’s Class of 2024 and spotlighted by Mixmag and DJ Mag, they’ve also shared stages with Jungle, Mount Kimbie and Jasper Tygner, while continuing to build a fiercely community-led space through both Club Hunni and Hunni Sound.
With further releases and live dates still to come, including a forthcoming appearance at Lost Village, 2026 continues to mark another breakthrough year for Kiimi.
