Angèle – Dis-Le

Angele by Among the Fields

Today, Belgian pop superstar singer-songwriter Angèle releases her new single “Dis-Le”, available now via Angèle VL Records / Sony Music.

Angèle returns with “Dis-Le”, an invitation to trust your instincts and speak up. Built around a hypnotic club pulse and the recurring call to “say it”, the track fuses intimacy with sleek pop immediacy. Produced by Angèle and long-time collaborator Tristan Salvati, and recorded between Brussels, New-York and south of France, “Dis-Le” marks a bold new step in her sonic evolution. Combining euphoric electronic textures with a chant-like refrain, the track celebrates the liberating power of expression, whether through words, movement or the simple act of being seen.

As Angèle explains: “Dis-le is an invitation to give voice to our inner thoughts, to express what we usually keep to ourselves. The song encourages us to break the silence, to free ourselves, and to boldly affirm our individual identity.”

The release arrives with a visually ambitious music video directed by Paris-based creative duo Suzie & Léo, whose work moves fluidly between film, fashion and contemporary art through collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Nike, Fendi or artists like Yung Lean. Developed alongside internationally acclaimed choreographic collective (LA)HORDE, the film expands the song’s themes through movement and collective energy. Set between day and night, realism and fantasy, the film follows different characters brought together by a shared need for freedom, self-expression and emancipation.

Developed alongside (LA)HORDE, the video brings together members of queer and rave communities, as well as figures from the hardstyle scene, many of whom the collective has collaborated with for more than a decade through its choreographic and artistic practice. At the centre of the film lies the rave: not simply as a setting, but as a space where identities intersect, boundaries dissolve and collective experience takes over. Rooted in (LA)HORDE’s long-standing exploration of nightlife and dancefloor cultures, the film also reflects on the rave as a space that continues to resist standardisation and control. Against a backdrop of increasing pressure on nightlife culture across many territories, the dancefloor emerges as a place of collective release, transformation and possibility – a place where no established order can ultimately withstand the force of people moving together.

For (LA)HORDE: “A contemporary ritual of radical release and pleasure, the rave embodies both catharsis and epiphany—through dance.”

The video also introduces a visual language that resonates throughout Angèle’s current creative chapter: a constant interplay between image and sensation, control and surrender, day and night. If daylight reflects structure and expectation, the night becomes a space of instinct, movement and possibility. Through dance and collective celebration, “Dis-Le” embraces the moment where expression turns into action.

Internationally recognised for their work with Rosalía’s LUX campaign, Madonna and Sam Smith, and for leading the Ballet National de Marseille since 2019, (LA)HORDE continues its creative dialogue with Angèle following the creative direction of “What You Want” featuring Justice.

Over the past years, Angèle has established herself as one of the most influential European artists of her generation. With multiple certified releases, close to 4 billion streams globally, sold-out arena tours and a cultural footprint extending across music, fashion and film, she has built one of the most distinctive artistic identities in European pop.

Her international profile continues to expand through collaborations with Dua Lipa, Phoenix and Kavinsky, a performance at the Closing Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and major partnerships with global brands including Chanel, where she serves as Global Ambassador, and Adidas.

Earlier this year, Angèle unveiled “What You Want”, a collaboration with Justice that marked the beginning of a new creative cycle. The release generated significant international attention, supported by high-profile editorial and media moments including Zane Lowe, Genius, Trackstar, The Times and i-D, further cementing Angèle’s growing presence beyond the Francophone world.
