Mia Moretti – Get Ready!

Mia Moretti by Liza Voloshin

Los Angeles-based DJ, producer, and cultural tastemaker Mia Moretti returns today with “GET READY!” – the first single from her forthcoming EP due out later this summer, marking a defining moment in her evolution into the global house space.

A longtime fixture at the intersection of music, fashion, and nightlife, Moretti has spent over a decade building a reputation through her distinctive DJ sets – rooted in classic, disco, and vocal-driven house – while steadily carving out her voice as a producer. With “GET READY!” she leans further into a direct, club-focused sound. Built around a strong groove and distinctive energy, the track is designed for the dancefloor – playful, confident, and immediate, reflecting the spirit of her sets and the direction of this new chapter.

“I wanted this record to feel transportive – it’s that moment in the night when everything shifts and you’re fully locked in, ready for takeoff,” says Moretti. “It’s groovy, adventurous, and totally psychedelic. That balance is really where I feel most at home.”

The release arrives via Moretti’s own imprint Spaghetti Moretti Records, a label founded as a kitschy home for house music and as a place for her and other artists to play. A little of this, a little of that, the kitchen sink of catalogues. “GET READY!” kicks off a run of summer releases, with additional singles to follow ahead of the full EP landing later this summer. The project will feature collaborations from disco pioneer Tom Moulton to indie icon, the first queen of sleaze, Uffie.

Beyond the music, Moretti continues to expand the world of “Chef’s Kiss,”  her monthly SIRIUS XM show on Diplo’s Revolution (Ch. 53) which airs the first Saturday every month. On the live front, look for Mia to join The Pussycat Dolls, Jade, Ava Max and more at OUTLOUD WeHo Pride’s SummerTramp Stage at West Hollywood Park on Saturday, June 6.
