Honey Dijon – The Nightlife
Today, Honey Dijon releases her new album The Nightlife, out now. A body of work rooted in club culture yet expansive in scope, The Nightlife captures the emotional and physical pull of the dancefloor, moving between intimacy, euphoria and release.
At its core, The Nightlife is about connection, the fleeting, the physical, the spiritual, told through a distinctly modern club lens. Across the record, Honey balances reverence for house music’s foundations with a forward-facing, deeply personal sound.
New track “Satisfied” featuring Jacob Lusk is a standout moment, soulful, devotional and quietly powerful. Built around rich instrumentation and Lusk’s soaring vocal, it channels longing and fulfilment in equal measure. It’s a record that lingers, less about instant impact, more about emotional depth.
The album features a cast of collaborators that sees Honey move fluidly between moods and tempos. “Just Friends” featuring Adi Oasis, Danielle Ponder and SUNI MF leans into late-night intimacy, all tension and restraint, while “Rush Me” with Mahalia brings a softer, more vulnerable edge. “I Like It Hot” featuring Greentea Peng taps into a hazy, psychedelic energy, and “The Nightlife” with Chlöe opens the record with a confident, high-gloss statement of intent.
Elsewhere, tracks like “New Wave Groove” and “Smoke and Mirrors” stretch deeper into Honey’s club instincts, rhythmic, hypnotic and built for the floor.
The release arrives as Honey returns to the spaces that shaped her. Kicking off her intimate Nightlife tour, she’s already played a packed show at Fold in London and Lofi, alongside a special listening event at 180 Studios. Designed as a deliberate move back into smaller, community-driven environments, the shows reflect the spirit of the record, raw, immediate and rooted in the dancefloor.
In an era where independent venues are under increasing pressure, The Nightlife feels both timely and intentional. It’s not just an album, but a statement on the importance of space, sound and shared experience.
