Chanpan – buzzin’

New York City’s own Chanpan share the new single and music video “buzzin,” today.

The eclectic, high energy track follows their COLORS performance debut of the song, which you can check out above. “buzzin” is the first taste of a new project from Chanpan coming very soon.

Speaking about the new song, Chanpan shares, “buzzin was born from a sample of a video of a sex toy buzzing. Matthew had a joke about a rose toy that the rest of the band and Frankie kept riffing on, which ultimately led to this song. Chanpan is cranking the sexy knob up for this era.”

Chanpan began in Chinatown, NYC where Grace Dumdaw (they/them) and twin brothers Lance and Matthew Tran (both he/him) started busking to fund the recording of their first EP air ride + attack. The three quickly grabbed the attention of the fashion and music world alike and later released the aforementioned EP and joined Haru Nemuri on tour in 2024. The band’s growth continued through 2025 with the release of their EP endlessly, sold-out headline shows in NYC and LA, several viral moments, K-Pop co-signs, and another tour with Post Animal.

Chanpan will bring their electric live show to various festivals across North America in the coming months including Big: Culture & Arts Festival in Florida, Showcation in Maryland and Governors Ball in New York. Additionally, Chanpan will head across the pond to Europe this May with shows in Paris, London, and more.
