CMAT – The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station
Unstoppable Irish star CMAT puts the rumours of beef with Jamie Oliver to bed once and for all, with the release of an epic music video for her critically acclaimed song, “The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station.”
The renowned chef and British household name made a major cameo appearance in her new video offering proof it was not a diss track afterall, joining CMAT on the drums and hitting them harder than he beats his batter when making his famous toad in the hole.
CMAT released her hotly anticipated and critically acclaimed new album, EURO-COUNTRY, on August 29 last year. The record charted at #1 in Ireland & #2 on UK album charts, and was shortlisted for 2025 Mercury Prize. It helped land her a BRIT Award nomination for best international artist alongside Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter in February of this year.
Despite this being her third album, this fully-formed acronymic star feels like she’s been part of the cultural zeitgeist forever. EURO-COUNTRY follows 2023’s brilliant Crazymad, For Me – an album that propelled her to wider attention and garnered numerous accolades: including a BRITs Best International Artist nod; and ‘Best Album’ nominations from the Ivors; Mercury Prize and the Choice Music Prize in her native Ireland (an award she won for her debut, If My Wife New I’d Be Dead).
CMAT is making many appearances in North America this year as she is fresh off of a massive performance at Brandi Carlile’s Girls Just Wanna festival in Mexico (where she hosted an incredible karaoke night!), and will be making her debut at Coachella & Newport Folk Festival and will be opening for Florence + the Machine on the Everybody Scream Tour. Not to mention she has a run of headline dates in some of her biggest venues kicking off at San Francisco’s legendary Castro on April 19th, D.C’s 9:30 Club on May 10th, Brooklyn’s Paramount on May 14th and recently announced Brooklyn Steel on May 15th.
