Genia – Downfall

Rising popstar Genia continues her ascent with the release of her latest single, “Downfall” out now via Def Jam Recordings.

“Downfall” is a slow-burning melodically rich meditation on attachment, disillusionment, and the quiet reclamation of self. Genia pens an unsettling intimacy within the new song confessing vulnerable details such as, “I’m all in, I’m under your skin / Can you save me?” before gradually arriving at a harder, more lucid truth. What begins as surrender evolves into resolve and the refrain of “down, down, down” transforms from descent into defiance.
