Starbenders – The Beast Goes On

Atlanta rock n’ rollers STARBENDERS release their brand new album The Beast Goes On, via Sumerian Records.

To celebrate the album’s release, the band have shared a stunning, fiendish new music video for the title track, “The Beast Goes On.”
Speaking about the album release, vocalist Kimi Shelter shares:
“The Beast Goes On is a statement of resilience and devotion. It’s deeply personal because this full length marks the first official body of work introducing our drummer, Qi Wei. She brought a beautiful energy and fire into STARBENDERS, and that transformation is woven throughout the album.”
Speaking about the new music video, she adds:
“The music video for ‘The Beast Goes On’ is the work of Nashville based director Hannah Gray Hall. She’s amazing and we love working with her. To me, it’s about energetic exchange and the invocation of something bigger than yourself. It isn’t about sacrifice, it’s about transformation. The story lives in that space between beauty and the beast, and the idea that both exist inside us all”
The highly-anticipated follow up to their critically acclaimed 2023 album Take Back The Night features all of the band’s recent singles including ‘Tokyo’, ‘To Be Alright’, ‘Somebody Else’ and ‘Saturday. “
STARBENDERS return with their boldest statement yet, The Beast Goes On; an album that fuses shimmering synth-rock, moody alt-pop, and raw, cinematic energy. With haunting hooks, infectious melodies, and lyrics that confront love, loss, and reinvention, STARBENDERS creates a soundscape that’s both intimate and larger than life. This record isn’t just music, it’s a mood, a movement and a relentless ride that proves STARBENDERS continue to push boundaries and command attention.
STARBENDERS fuse glam-soaked swagger with dark, modern rock, creating a sound that’s equal parts seductive and dangerous. Built on towering riffs, hypnotic melodies, and cinematic atmosphere, their music thrives in the tension between grit and gloss. With fearless visuals and high energy performances, STARBENDERS bend classic rock influence into something sharp, urgent, and entirely their own.
Their music has earned major playlist support, radio airplay, and press recognition for its fearless energy and visual forward aesthetic. Equally respected for their live performances, the band has shared stages with notable artists across the rock spectrum, solidifying their reputation as a must see act. As they enter their next era, the band stands as a testament to creative independence, hard earned momentum, and rock music that refuses to play it safe.
