Wasia Project – Letters From The Day

Today, Wasia Project, the musical duo formed by siblings Will Gao and Olivia Hardy, share a new single “Letters From The Day,” their first musical offering since 2024’s Isotope EP.
Produced with frequent collaborator St. Francis Hotel, “Letters From The Day” showcases Wasia Project at their most vulnerable and expansive. Built around atmospheric piano and intricate percussion work, the song evokes the wistfulness of twilight reflections and the bittersweet beauty of yearning. Olivia’s vocals glide and swell, crafting a sonic landscape that is both intimate and grand in scale. Echoes of jazz, art-pop and chamber music blend effortlessly, creating a textured soundscape that feels timeless and immediate. With this single, Wasia Project continues to blur genre lines while deepening their emotional palette–a hallmark of their evolving, boundary-pushing sound.
Wasia Project says of the single: “‘Letters From The Day’ is a song about not wanting someone to leave your life, or to be left behind and forgotten by them. It’s a desperate plea to a lover to stay and fight for a relationship.”
