Casey McQuillen – Good

Following a whirlwind year touring sold-out venues across Europe with Anastacia and Eurovision winner Loreen, London-based singer-songwriter Casey McQuillen is ready to capture hearts once again with her poignant new single, ‘Good.’

A gentle synth-pop anthem, the track sets the scene at Casey’s birthday party, reflecting on the times she felt like she didn’t fit in – both growing up and in social situations – capturing emotions that still linger today. Arriving just in time for the second run of her UK anti-bullying school concert series, the #YouMatterTour and her announcement as a new advocate for global youth charity Ditch The Label, this heartfelt release couldn’t be more timely.

Hopeful yet tinged with melancholy, ‘Good’ paints a vivid picture of the fear of throwing a birthday party only for no one to show up. Though Casey is now in a different stage of life, her ongoing struggles with body image, mental health, and confidence remain, offering a deeply relatable portrait of insecurity and the lasting effects of bullying. Whispering the line “I’m not good at this,” her tender vocals deliver a raw honesty that will resonate with anyone who’s ever felt out of place.

Aligning perfectly with her message of empowerment and her work as a dedicated anti-bullying advocate, Casey’s partnership with Ditch The Label marks a powerful new chapter. It precedes both the return of her the #YouMatterTour and her UK and European headline run, “The Better Tour,” which took place this autumn.

Ditch The Label’s confidential support mentors have helped young people between the ages of 12-25 all over the world navigate mental health issues, anti-bullying, identity, and relationships. Resonating with the essence of the singer’s emotionally-charged discography – ‘Skinny’, a heartfelt anthem that addresses her personal struggle with body image within the public eye – it makes for a perfect collaboration set to raise awareness for the charity’s devoted work and aims.

Casey is a passionate anti-bullying advocate, influenced by her personal experiences with bullying growing up. Intending to raise awareness and use music as a positive platform to support young people facing similar challenges, she has performed her impactful concert series at more than 200 middle and high schools, reaching over 50,000 students across the US, UK, and Ireland. The ‘You Matter’ Tour was recognised by the UN Foundation and was recently featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Now teaming up with Ditch The Label, her genuine and fearless campaigning continues.

On the collaboration, Casey says, “I’ve spent years touring schools across the U.S. and Europe, performing my anti-bullying concert series and connecting with students about confidence, kindness, and self-worth. That’s why I’m so proud to officially partner with Ditch the Label, an organization that shares my mission to empower young people to stand up against bullying and embrace who they are. Together, we’re amplifying a message that’s more important now than ever: you are not alone, and you are enough.”

‘Good’ follows the release of the melancholic single ‘Wedding Date’ and ‘Better Than This,’ an uplifting pop-rock anthem inspired by her journey of moving to London and pursuing a music career. After the success of her critically acclaimed self-love hit ‘Better,’ Casey showcased another side of her powerhouse songwriting, delivering an inspiring message for anyone embarking on a new beginning.
