100 – Red Flags
Tunisian-Danish composer, songwriter, and visual artist Mia Ghabarou, working under the alias 100, is set to release her first self-published project. Combining electronic composition, classical strings, performance, and audiovisual installation, Ghabarou creates immersive, multi-media experiences that move fluidly between galleries, concert halls, and clubs.
The song ‘RED FLAGS’ is an exploration of the psychology of desire, loss, and self-alienation. It maps emotional contradictions in a raw, almost ritualistic way: depression as denial of loss, humor as tension release, aggression as existential armor. The EP doesn’t just tell a story of multilayered heartbreak—it dramatizes the internal struggle of the self.
“Red Flags” is the first song from the forthcoming EP release by 100. Alongside the release 100 is collaborating with fashion label Sabot on a capsule collection to be released together with the EP.
Her music has previously appeared on Haunter Records (IT), Posh Isolation (DK), and Kornmod (DK), and has been broadcast on NTS Radio. In April 2025, during Milan Design Week, Björk opened her DJ set with a track by Ghabarou on the Icelandic label Smekkleysa.
Since graduating in electronic composition from the Royal Academy of Music, she has performed internationally across Iceland, Rome, London, Lisbon, Porto, Athens, Berlin, and Cairo, while exhibiting her work at venues including Ásmundarsalur Modern Art Gallery (Reykjavik), Simian Contemporary Art Center, Inter Pblc. (Copenhagen), and Galeria Zé dos Bois (ZDB) (Lisbon).
With this debut self-release as 100, Ghabarou marks a new chapter in her practice, asserting her independent voice within the contemporary music and visual art scene.
