Hannah Ida – Galaxies

Musician Hannah Ida is back with her newest single “Galaxies.” One of a bunch of songs, who are to be released in the year 2025…

The song galaxies tells a dreamy and ominous story about dangerous needs, as well as seductive temptations and critiques an everlasting social pressure faced by many girls and women: the importance to be or to become skinny. A dangerous and gloomy game. A love-hate relationship with society, personal environments and the own body and mind.

The song has been collaboratively produced, recorded, mixed and mastered at Zonkey Studios (Vienna, AT). For Hannah Ida, co-producing and writing in the studio (and not at home) has been a first time experience. Together with the producers and musicians Simon Schenk-Mair, Sebastian Kierner and Michael Fink, Hannah Ida has created a dreamy and immersive sound experience. In a vivid collaboration, they have continuously been creating a world of  storytelling and reverie.

The musicians have been eager to only use “real instruments“, trying to free themselves from “in the box“ sounds. The production thus experiments with all kinds of  peculiar instruments like the omnichord, critter and guitari pocket piano, vintage drum computer sounds, as well as simplistic guitar tunes and a variation of  dreamy vocals.
