We Might Die – ICED OUT

We Might Die2

Rising Las Vegas punk trio We Might Die return with their most confrontational release to date, the blistering new single “ICED OUT,” now streaming everywhere.

Written from the perspective of an ICE agent, the track delivers a searing, satirical takedown of state violence and the justifications used to defend it — a loud, fast, and furious spiritual successor to the classic protest punk lineage of “Police Truck” by Dead Kennedys.

Driven by a volatile push-and-pull between accusation and self-defense, “ICED OUT” weaponizes WMD’s signature blend of hardcore velocity and hook-heavy punk into a song that refuses neutrality. It’s a direct response to the band’s anger and grief at what they see happening across the United States right now — neighbors being killed, families separated, and people of color imprisoned — and a call for listeners to share in that outrage rather than look away.

The single marks the first new material since the band’s 2025 full-length Hate You, an 11-song statement that established We Might Die as one of the most urgent new voices in underground punk.

Hate You

Formed in 2024, We Might Die channel personal struggle and political fury into explosive, cathartic anthems. The trio — Liv (bass/vocals), Travis (guitar/vocals), and Chance (drums) — transform anxiety, depression, and lived experience into songs built for confrontation, connection, and collective release.

Fronted by fearless teenage bassist/vocalist Liv, the band brings an unfiltered intensity to both stage and studio, pairing blunt, zero-filter lyrics with razor-sharp hooks. On drums is her father Chance, a scene veteran with nearly 25 years in punk, grindcore, and metal, whose Animal-like energy fuels the band’s relentless speed. Travis rounds out the lineup with intricate riff work, dynamic songwriting, and face-melting leads that give WMD their sonic depth.

Despite their recent formation, the band have already shared stages with major scene names — including opening for Catbite and performing the official Punk Rock Bowling Kickoff Show — and continue to build a reputation for live sets that hit far beyond their years.

With “ICED OUT,” We Might Die make it clear that their next chapter will be louder, more direct, and more dangerous — a reminder that punk remains a space for truth, resistance, and community.
