skuzland – Poor Choices

Rising pop/rock duo skuzland have been “bringing the edge back to New York’s underground” (V Magazine) and making a splash long before they joined musical and creative forces. Today, the New York City mainstays have released their latest single “POOR CHOICES” replete with another captivating music video.
Written by skuzland and produced by longtime creative partner Lillith, “POOR CHOICES” is a lovelorn anthem that cheekily juxtaposes skuzland’s mellifluous vocals with gritty lyrics like “sip my spit, drink my blood, suck me dry, call me a c*nt.” Its sun-soaked chords and pulsating synths make “POOR CHOICES” a perfect track to spin from peaceful mornings well into raucous nights.
Of the new single, skuzland says: “Sweet melodies & bad decisions. ‘POOR CHOICES’ frolics through themes of self-sabotage and self-worth. We’re the problem and we know it! Admittance is the first step xoxo”
The “POOR CHOICES” music video is another standout in skuzland’s short but deep creative lexicon. Shot in the band’s hometown of New York City, the video catches the duo at a house party surrounded by their soon-to-be heartbreakers. Meanwhile, skuzland’s bread and butter—over the top outfits and entrancing camera angles—are on full display (welcome back, fisheye lens, we missed you!).
