“It’s been a crazy year, but I am grateful for so many things – my immensely talented and generous friends who keep showing up for us year after year; the technology that is going to make it possible to bring our virtual concert to more people than ever; and all of our partners who help True Colors United do the work that we do. The Home for the Holidays concert is 10 years and over 100 artists in, and has raised over three million dollars, which is beyond what I could have imagined when we began. Most importantly though, we are truly helping LGBTQ young people experiencing homelessness. And to all of the fans who watch, donate, and celebrate with us, you are family. And I thank you.” – Cyndi Lauper
Last year King Princess released Cheap Queen and had a sold out national tour. Today she releases “Only Time Makes It Human” produced by King Princess & Mike Malchicoff, and co-produced by Mark Ronson. The video is directed by Quinn Wilson.
King Princess is the daughter of studio royalty. Her father owns a studio in NYC that has hosted many bands known to all. In February King Princess dropped “1950” the first single from her debut EP, Make My Bed.
The EP was released in mid-June. King Princess is beginning her first nationwide tour and has already sold out some shows. In a word, King Princess is exploding. She has a direct songwriting style that emphasizes her lesbian life. The songs are addictive. See King Princess before the explosion becomes atomic. https://kingprincessmusic.com/
