What is the Arts Lead Sheet? It is a resource for finding grants, jobs, opportunities in the arts. It started as an ad-hoc e-mail list a few years. We are now bringing it back as a feature on FEMMUSIC. It is not restricted to music but encompasses all of the arts. Miss something? Look at the archives at:

Above the Ashes: A Virtual Concert for Marshall Fire Relief
February 19, 2022
7pm MST
https://www.foxtracksmusic.com/cmfr
“Above The Ashes: A Virtual Concert for Marshall Fire Relief” is a collaborative effort by businesses, media outlets and musicians to raise money for the Boulder Community Relief Fund. While there are a number of local fundraisers, we wanted to reach people who do not live near in-person fundraisers or who are not yet comfortable with live events. The Marshall fire left all of us in East Boulder County, and beyond, reeling and saddened by the number of people who lost everything. In response to this tragedy, Fox Tracks Music and The Muse Performance Space are collaborating with Dazzle, Colorado Public Radio, The Colorado Sound, KUVO Jazz, and many others to produce a recorded video fundraiser with proceeds directly supporting the victims of the Marshall Fire. Musicians filmed and recorded 2-3 songs with Fox Tracks Music at The Muse Performance Space. One of each musician’s recorded songs will be in the video that airs on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.as a YouTube Premiere
Participating artists include a wide swath of Colorado artists including The Velveteers, Trace Bundy, Break Science with Hunter Roberts, Ritmo Jazz Latino, The Still Tide, David Lawrence and the Spoonful, Julia Kirkwood, Emma Rose, The Delta Sonics, Allie Chipkin, ZiMBiRA, Expeditions feat. Pete Lewis and Clare Church of the Muse Performance Space, Chas Wetherbee and David Korevaar, Gabriel Mervine Quartet feat. Joey Porter & Dave Watts (of The Motet), Joshua Halpern, Takács Quartet, ARS Nova Singers, Boulder Bach Festival, ETHNO (Jeff Franca of Thievery Corporation) and more.
Donations will be collected through this dedicated link on The Muse Performance Space’s website with proceeds sent directly to the Boulder Community Fund at

The Underground Music Showcase
August 27-29, 2021
Denver, CO
https://www.undergroundmusicshowcase.com/
For over 20 years this music festival has brought big names to Denver while also showcasing the local scene. This year over 170 artists will appear on 15 stages over 3 days. Last year the festival was a virtual 3 hour event. This year’s showcase includes Pinegrove, Remi Wolf, Shannon & The Clams, Sofia Valdes among its 13 headliners. Local acts include returning artists of Bellhoss, Slow Caves, Wildermiss, Izcalli and more. There are also new faces including Lnlygirl, The Grand Alliance, Deadluv and more.
“After 20 years of Underground Music Showcase, we were thrilled to be able to carry-on our tradition virtually last year by raising $75,000 for independent musicians” shares Casey Berry, owner of the festival. “With that said, we couldn’t be happier to be in-person for 2021 to not only support live music and local bands, but to support more than a dozen independent bars and restaurants on Broadway!”
UMS is working closely with city and state officials to make sure we rage safely in 2021. This might include reduced capacity (especially at indoor venues), and potentially limiting ticket sales to ensure proper distancing as required. UMS has every intent to become a good example of how to return to in-person, live music festivals in a safe and celebratory manner, and will be monitoring health directives in real time as the big weekend approaches.
