070 Shake

070 Shake officially releases her highly-anticipated sophomore album, You Can’t Kill Me via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings. Executive produced by 070 Shake and Dave Hamelin and mixed and mastered by Mike Dean, the new project arrives alongside an Alexander Wesseley-directed video for the album track “Medicine” that shows an intimate performance of the song as Shake is submerged in water while vocalizing through an oxygen mask.

The album features previously released tracks “Body,” “Web,” and the first offering from You Can’t Kill Me, “Skin and Bones.”

You Can’t Kill Me is an extension of Shake’s previous interrogation of humanity, aiming to further expose her innermost feelings and to explore complicated interpersonal connections, digging deeply as a manifesto about emotional investment, codependency, and withdrawal. Speaking on the project’s premise, she shares: “We’re so attached to this physical world, it makes us more susceptible to being hurt. You can’t kill me because I’m more than my body.” Further detailing the album’s genesis, she says “With each album, it’s like you’re being revealed more and more. You Can’t Kill Me shows how dedicated I am to being free within music… Feeling is the biggest ingredient of my music.”

Denver, CO

May 28, 2022

On May 28 070 Shake was in Denver. The set included older songs “Guilty Conscience”, “I Wanna Get High”, and “Microdosing.” It was dominated by songs from You Can’t Kill Me including “History”, “Medicine”, “Stay” and more.

070 Shake’s show is a mix of deep passionate songs, followed by a desire to stir the mosh pit. It is as much revival as rap. During the show 070 Shake was concerned for the audience’s well being. She invited people to embrace each other so the people next to you wouldn’t be unknown. She also had a moment of silence for victims of the Uvalde School shooting.

070 Shake is selling out the last few dates of the tour which ends June 10.

Flowing with her trademark swaggering attitude, gritty lyrics and slick production, pop renegade Noga Erez has returned with her razor sharp new single, “NAILS.”

“‘NAILS’ is a song about jealousy, and how being jealous of people, in this particular case another woman, makes you idealize that person in a very weird and dark way,” Erez comments. This is something that Erez explores in the track’s accompanying video, directed by Indy Hait.

Along with the new single, Erez has announced her signing to Neon Gold/Atlantic Records, revealed exclusively on Billboard. Of the new partnership, Erez said, “I’m super excited to begin to work with the people of Atlantic/Neon Gold. This partnership is a big step for me. We’ve already started to get the ball rolling creatively and we have some big plans ahead of us.”

Neon Gold Co-Founder Derek Davies shared, “Neon Gold has long been defined by iconoclastic international pop talents — from Charli XCX and MARINA to Tove Lo and Christine And The Queens — and we are thrilled to welcome the genreless and borderless Noga Erez to the fold as one of the most visionary artists we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.”

Atlantic Records SVP, A&R Jeff Levin & A&R Director Madison Vickery added, “Noga Erez breaks down the barriers of genre with a unique creative vision that plays with elements of pop, alternative, R&B and rap. Erez represents another leap forward for the label and for music. Their live show brings stadium level energy to every room. We’re proud to welcome her to our roster and provide a platform for her creative vision.”

Charli XCX

Charli XCX – Crash

Today I, the iconic global pop star Charli XCX, am announcing CRASH, my highly-anticipated forthcoming album, releasing March 18th 2022. This is the fifth and final album in my record deal…

I have also released ‘New Shapes’ featuring Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens, and am announcing my European and North American tour, with tickets available for presale from November 10th. If you don’t stream New Shapes or purchase tickets to the tour you will most definitely burn in hell.

The announcement of CRASH follows my latest single, ‘Good Ones’, a track signaling a new chapter for me in which I embraced all that the life of a pop figurehead has to offer in today’s world – celebrity, obsession and global hits.

I was able to possess and persuade an incredible group of producers and collaborators to contribute to CRASH by using my femme fatale powers and a multitude of dark spells and curses. Some of these include A. G. Cook, George Daniel, Deaton Chris Anthony, Lotus IV, Caroline Polachek, Christine and the Queens, Oscar Holter, Digital Farm Animals, Rina Sawayama, Ian Kirkpatrik, Jason Evigan, Justin Raisen, Ariel Rechtshaid, Ilya, Oneohtrix Point Never, Jon Shave and Mike Wise. They will all remain locked in my basement forever.
