Today, Big Thief unveil “Change,” another gorgeous track in their catalogue, and announce a spring North American tour. “Change” is intimate and evocative, and places the listener right alongside the band. Dreamy, eerie harmonies find warmth in the simple romance of Adrianne Lenker’s lyrics; their innocent hope looking to find a simple moment of peace in chaotic times.
Big Thief will kick off 2022 with a European tour. Following, they’ll return to the States to play some of their biggest headline sets yet, including two nights at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre and an evening at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre. Tickets are on sale Fri. Oct. 8th at 10am local time (Spotify presale will be available Thu. Oct. 7th at 10am local time). A full list of dates can be found below.

The album was recorded in Los Angeles by Rich Costey. Front woman Heather Baron-Gracie says on the making of the album, “for me, music and art is for people not to feel so alone and isolated. I want to be that person my fans look up to and find comfort in.”
