Banks

Today, internationally acclaimed artist BANKS returns with the highly anticipated release of her fourth studio album, SERPENTINA (AWAL). The 13-track body of work features previously released singles, ‘The Devil,’ ‘Skinnydipped,’ ‘Holding Back,’ ‘I Still Love You’ as well as the album’s current focus track, ‘Fuck Love.’

Also announced, BANKS will embark on her headlining SERPENTINA TOUR with special guest Lauren Jauregui and Cautious Clay confirmed to join in New York and Philadelphia. Produced by Live Nation, the 25-date run will be making stops across all major cities including one night at New York City’s iconic Radio City Music Hall.

SERPENTINA marks BANKS’ first release as an independent artist, seeing her enter previously uncharted territory in every sense—from sound to lyrics to visuals, and everything in-between. “In the past I’ve been really tight and controlled, and I don’t feel like that right now,” says BANKS. “I just feel more wild and free.”

All Things Go Music Festival

October 16, 2021

Merriweather Post Pavilion

Columbia, Maryland

https://allthingsgofestival.com/

The 2021 All Things Go Music Festival returns on Saturday October 16th and makes a major move to the 20,000 capacity Merriweather Post Pavilion venue. The festival continues their female-forward billing with this year’s headliner and Grammy Album Of The Year nominee, HAIM – in addition to St. Vincent , Charli XCX and LAUV at the top of the bill.

Those artists will be joined by a slew of up-and-coming artists — Girl In Red, Cautious Clay, Beach Bunny, Soccer Mommy, Gus Dapperton, Tkay Maidza, Jelani Aryeh, Role Model, Tai Verdes, Blue DeTiger, Isaac Dunbar and Del Water Gap — all taking over two stages at the iconic Merriweather Post Pavilion, making it one of the largest independent festival on the east coast.

The festival is known for their female-focused billing and equal representation in the music industry in general, for instance the Saturday of All Things Go 2018 spotlighted an all-female lineup specially curated in collaboration with Maggie Rogers and LPX (Lizzy Plapinger), both All Things Go friends, and Plapinger, a previous partner on the All Things Gold club nights in Washington DC.

Save Our Stages

YouTube Music and NIVA (National Independent Venue Association) present #SOS (Save Our Stages Fest)

October 16-18, 2020

https://www.saveourstages.com/

Since COVID-19 began our local independent music venues have been suffering. In reaction the National Independent Venue Association was born. NIVA has been lobbying congress to get relief money so we don’t lose our independent venues. It has created a coalition of over 3000 member venues across the US in the music, comedy and arts sector.

The festival will be hosted by Reggie Watts and feature performances from 35 artists recorded live from more than 25 independent concert venues across the United States. These artists join YouTube and NIVA to amplify the message of NIVA’s Save Our Stages advocacy efforts and raise funds for its nationwide, need-based grant program to provide relief to these important members of the independent music, comedy and arts community.

The artists in the festival include:

Bea Miller

Brittany Howard

Kelsea Ballerini

Little Big Town

The Lumineers

Demi Lovato

Miley Cyrus

Monica

Phoebe Bridgers

Reba McEntire

And many more. Fans can watch the festival on NIVA’s YouTube Channel and on the individual artist’s YouTube Channel. Fans can donate directly to the NIVA Emergency Relief Fund at https://www.nivassoc.org/erf
