Catie Turner wants to steal your dad with new single “Step Mom.”
The tongue-in-cheek track is an ode to Catie’s ex, spelling out her plans to start dating his dad – “We broke up, It was messy…I got a man now with a good health plan, I’m gonna steal your dad…Be the best he ever had…I’m with him now but it could’ve been us, If you never did me wrong I wouldn’t be your step mom.”
“Step Mom” follows this spring’s high energy bop, “Nothing.”
This year has seen Catie has been spending time on the road, including a major US run supporting Canadian pop band Valley and a series of dates as special guest on Léon’s Fade Into A Dream: The North American Tour.
