2nd Annual Down In Denver Fest
Denver, CO
August 19-21, 2022
Last year a new local festival started Down In Denver. Last year it was held Labor Day Weekend. This year it will be held in August.
The 2nd annual Down In Denver Fest will be 2.5 days of local music, happening Saturday, Aug. 20th and Sunday, Aug. 21st – including a free pre-party Friday night, Aug. 19th – at Larimer Lounge. Tickets are $25/day or $50 for the weekend.
Down In Denver was co-founded in 2021 by longtime Denver musicians Kitty Vincent, Marie Litton, and Michael Trundle of Denver’s legendary dance party Lipgloss. Its mission is to bring together Colorado artists to showcase their work in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Down In Denver aims to provide support for both established and new artists alike for the purpose of creating exposure and building community.
Down In Denver will feature 50 acts on 2 stages, with headliners Pink Fuzz on Saturday and Dressy Bessy on Sunday – and will feature local acts from a wide variety of genres. Pay attention to Friday FREE Pre-Party.
The festival will have Denver veterans like Emerald Siam and Jen Korte, brand new acts like Unicorn Hits, and a very rare appearance from elusive icons like Mr. Pacman, Magic Cyclops, and Andrew Novick’s “GetYourGoing” PowerPoint Project. If you missed Underground Music Showcase you will find many of those acts here including Saturday headliner Pink Fuzz, Moon Pussy, Polly Urethane, Sarah Slaton and the Great Perhaps, The Sickly Hecks and Wave Decay.
Down In Denver is presented by Evergroove Studio and Rupp’s Drums, with participation from Ratio Beerworks and Mi Rey Social Food Truck.
