The single arrives ahead of her debut album, Charting the Stars in Her Eyes (out December 2025), a record that traces the emotional seasons of a year: from the aching stillness of winter to the lush bloom of spring. “Follow the Crows” represents autumn’s shadowed side.
“I set out to create something that draws you into the fog-where the past still breathes, and every crow’s call carries a secret. It’s a quiet, eerie chapter of my album, exploring grief and change through the haunting lens of a gothic dream,” Rain explains.
Violette Rain has been unveiling one track per month throughout 2025, each release mirroring the season in which it lands. “Follow the Crows” marks October’s entry, following September’s bittersweet “Pumpkin Pie” and paving the way for November’s “Autumn Wind.”
