Black Satellite – Downfall

BLACK SATELLITE – led by indomitable New York City-based frontwoman Larissa Vale – premiere their hook-laden new single “Downfall” today.
An instant earworm, despite its heavy subject matter, the song was recorded and produced by Kane Churko (In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach) at The Hideout Studio in Henderson, Nevada.
Black Satellite’s Larissa Vale says “‘Downfall’ casts a light on the complexities of dealing with a really toxic person in your life and all the needless destruction and collateral damage created as a result. It’s really about reaching your absolute breaking point where you don’t even have the energy to stand up for yourself anymore. It’s kind of the sentiment of ‘If you’re going down, then I guess I am too.’ Essentially giving in to the fight because it’s completely eaten you alive to the point where there’s nothing left. We had an absolute blast working with Kane and were honestly so inspired by what he does.”
