Punk Crush – Inferno

Los Angeles-based four-piece rock outfit PUNK CRUSH today heats things up with “Inferno,” the second single off their debut album FERAL, out May 2 via Sneak Dog Records.
“Inferno” confronts the emotional toll of working yourself to the bone in a system rigged against you. G Leonardo’s fuzz-drenched guitar riffs coil and crackle beneath the lyric: “You’re working to death but / I’m safe in my inferno”. It’s a bitter anthem for anyone who’s pushed past their limits just to survive. But even in the fire, there’s a flicker of triumph: a reclamation of agency, a fierce refusal to be consumed. It’s burnout with bite, and a beat you can thrash to.
“The great American paradigm of hard work equaling success is dead,” said Leonardo. “But for those of us born chasing this American dream, it’s absolutely devastating to have put in this much work and to look up and see others having it much easier. When do you stop burning yourself at both ends to make your family proud? And when, for your aging body, is the point of no return?”
Channeling the nervy intensity of ‘90s alt icons like Pixies and The Breeders, fused with the moody haze of Silversun Pickups and the restless introspection of Car Seat Headrest, PUNK CRUSH carves out a sound that’s both explosive and tender. Their music thrives in friction – between distortion and clarity, euphoria and collapse – where melody cuts through the noise like a flare in the dark.

FERAL captures the volatility of being alive right now. It’s raw, restless, and unafraid to get messy, from the mosher “Mean Machine” to the hazy comedown of “Destroyer.” Across nine tracks, the band wrestles with identity, burnout, and defiance in a world that demands too much. But even in its darkest corners, FERAL burns with the stubborn spark of hope. It’s an album that doesn’t just rage against the machine—it dares to feel everything.
