Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers – Glory (Deluxe)
Mom+Pop recording artists, the Award-winning Australian indie-rock band Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers drop their “slutty, drivey” new track ‘BATH WATER’ and announce GLORY deluxe out on April 24.
GLORY deluxe is an extended version of their critically acclaimed sophomore album GLORY featuring two new songs – ‘BATH WATER’ and ‘GO WASTE MY TIME’ – and stripped back reworks of four fan favorite tracks ‘TALKING’, ‘DAYLIGHT’, ‘MINE’ and ‘WONDERFUL’. Produced by 3x GRAMMY Award-winning, London-based Catherine Marks (boygenius’ The Record, Wolf Alice), GLORY is an exploration of confidence, disgust, infatuation, and power set against widescreen indie-rock you can strut to, and earmarked Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers embracing a new, messy era.
The band says: “BATH WATER is a slutty, drivey, fun song about coming home from a night out. It’s about when you leave a bar and are actually really excited to hang out by yourself and enjoy your own company, in a Ke$ha way, though.”
The release of ‘BATH WATER’ comes at the end of a hugely successful Australia/NZ Laneway Festival run where they played to packed audiences at each stop, and ahead of their upcoming North American tour in the Fall. They will play headline shows down the East Coast, Warped Tour in Florida, and two very special shows with Jimmy Eat World on their highly anticipated Bleed American 25th Anniversary Tour. The tour also includes stops in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., among others.
These dates follow their return to the UK & Europe this August for their sold-out headline show in London with a second now on sale, plus their debuts at All Points East in London, Victorious Festival in Portsmouth, and Openair Gampel in Switzerland.
