Mother Mary: Greatest Hits – My Mouth Is Lonely For You

A24 Music is set to release the official motion picture soundtrack for David Lowery’s highly anticipated film Mother Mary on April 17th. Today, they shared a new track from Mother Mary: Greatest Hits — “My Mouth Is Lonely For You,” performed by the film’s titular pop icon, Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway.

The song was written by FKA twigs, who also stars in the film, with additional credits going to Koreless, Xquisite Korpse, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Jeff Bhasker.

Mother Mary: Greatest Hits also features original songs written and produced by 13-time GRAMMY winner Jack Antonoff and the artist Charli xcx.

Mother Mary, a thrilling psychosexual pop opera also stars Michaela Coel, Hunter Schafer, Kaia Gerber, and FKA twigs. The film, written and directed by David Lowery, follows Mother Mary as long-buried wounds rise to the surface when she reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer, Sam Anselm (Michaela Coel), on the eve of her comeback performance. The A24 film will be released in select theatres on April 17th and will be nationwide on April 24th.
