Afrofuturistic hip-hop star Niambi Ra has a remarkable aptitude for transforming life’s most relatable experiences into reasons to celebrate and heal through music. Her long-awaited debut album, Stellar Nebula, is out now, marking her first release in four years and showcases her signature fusion of future soul, classic hip-hop, and sultry R&B.
A ten-track musical journey, Stellar Nebula explores all-too familiar feelings such as the frustration of mixed signals on “Simmer It Down” and the uncertainty of emotional limbo on “Stuck In The Middle.” An uplifting songwriter, Niambi also offers a sense of hope through hard times with “I Say,” a testimony to the power of self-affirmation, and the previously released single “Friday”, a reminder that intentional decisions to experience joy can turn the hardest days into everyone’s favorite day of the week.

Throughout 2025, she starred as the lead in The Book of Mormon, a milestone that led to her performing the National Anthem at a New York Liberty game this past July. Niambi revives the lost art of recording with a live band in the studio.
