Conjuring up female leads like Stevie Nicks and Madonna, LA songstress Sedona returns today with a radiant confessional, “Hollywood.”

Exposing the less glamorous truths of the industry, “Hollywood” is Sedona’s most confronting and honest release to date. Raw vocals are on full display as she taps into the heartbreak behind the glamour.

Directed by Sammy King, Sedona leans into the glitz and glam of the City of Stars. Filmed at Los Angeles’ neighborhood staple Silverlake Lounge on 35mm, the video offers a pointed commentary on the expectations placed on women. “It isn’t easy being a woman, and it’s even harder being one in Hollywood,” she shares. “There’s a lot of loops, hoops, and fragile egos we have to jump through.”

Hot off the heels of her debut record, Getting Into Heaven, which garnered support from KCRW, Alt Press, and NPR followed by two US tours with Goldie Boutillier and Drugdealer, Sedona gives us “Hollywood” while gearing up for her Spring EP, Super 8 Sextape.
