Emmalee Rainbow – I’ve Had Some Wine

Today Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emmalee Rainbow is excited to share her new single “I’ve Had Some Wine,” the first release from her upcoming EP due later this spring.
The track hits like a widescreen confession, intimate and aching, yet expansive in scope. Featuring Maxx Morando (Miley Cyrus, Liily) on drums, the track blends the neon-drenched melancholy of 80s icons like U2 and The Cure with the emotional immediacy of modern nostalgic indie rock.
Written in the Notes app on her 21st birthday in Las Vegas, the song captures the familiar but strange tension between ambition and the monotony of everyday life. As Emmalee says: “Vegas, oddly enough, really inspired me for this song. The idea that we only get one life is such a cliché, but I feel like all of us are longing for an experience that doesn’t exist. Vegas represents that perfectly for me.”
The result is a track that erupts with the momentum of the final scene of an epic blockbuster. It’s a slow-building anthem that swells into cinematic, all-consuming yearning.
To celebrate the release, Emmalee Rainbow will perform shows this month in Los Angeles, Los Osos, and Santa Barbara. Upcoming dates are listed below.
