Kings Elliot – Whiskey & Wine
Last month British / Swiss singer-songwriter Kings Elliot releases her long-awaited debut album, ‘Born Blue’ – a 14-track body of work rich in emotional honesty, poetic vulnerability, and sonic versatility.
Today she releases the video for “Whiskey & Wine.”
Speaking on the making of ‘Born Blue’, Kings Elliot shares; “Making and releasing my debut album has been my dream for as long as I can remember. These songs are the ones I needed in order to become the person I am today, they’re the songs I needed to start healing. Creating this album feels like one of the most triumphant and meaningful milestones of my life and I’m immensely proud of this body of work. More than anything, I hope it can find its way to others who need it.”
Blue runs through the album like a constant thread, echoing her iconic hair and emotional world, as she explores themes of her personal battles with mental health, heartache, resilience, and self-discovery.
From intimate ballads to more punchy, alt-pop moments, each song captures a different shade of the human experience, threaded together by Kings’ unmistakable voice and unfiltered honesty.
The album features 14 tracks, including four recent singles – ‘What If This World’, ‘Starcrossed’, ‘Love and Landslides’, and ‘The Promise.’
Alongside these releases, the album brings together standout singles from Kings’ career to date – ‘I’m Getting Tired Of Me’, ‘Dancing Alone’, ‘Call Me A Dreamer’, ‘Ashes By The Morning’, ‘Sweet Nothing’.
