Colbie Caillat – This Time Around
5X GRAMMY® nominee Colbie Caillat releases her most collaborative and heartfelt project yet, This Time Around, via Blue Jean Baby Records.
The new duets album features reimagined versions of her greatest hits alongside brand-new original songs, performed with an impressive lineup of guest artists and longtime friends. The project – produced by Jimmy Robbins and Eric Arjes – celebrates the enduring charm of her songwriting while introducing fresh creative partnerships across country, pop, and soul.
“This album means so much to me,” says Caillat. “I wanted to revisit the songs that shaped my journey while also sharing new ones that reflect who I am today and doing it with friends and artists I admire made the process even more special.”
In advance of the release, fans have already been treated to early previews including “Kinda Single” with Lee Brice, “Live Without” with Maddie & Tae, “Can’t Say No” with Ryan Hurd, “Realize” with Mitchell Tenpenny, and “If You Love Me Let Me Go” with Russell Dickerson all of which have sparked early buzz. Taking center stage on release day is the 2X RIAA Platinum-certified hit “Fallin’ For You” with GRAMMY-winner Maren Morris.
“Maren has one of my all-time favorite voices I’ve ever heard and now have had the privilege to sing with,” said Caillat. “I was introduced to her through my producer, Jimmy, and the coolest part is that Maren chose “Fallin’ For you” to sing on. It turned out even more special than I could have imagined.”
“I’ve been covering Colbie’s songs since I was seventeen,” adds Morris. “When she reached out and asked me to duet ‘Falling For You’ with her, I was having a full circle giddiness moment. She has one of the most warm, soulful voices I got to blend with, and it turned out so beautifully.”
