Future Palace – Cyclone

Germany’s FUTURE PALACE are making major moves to catapult their already promising career to the next level. The German band is thrilled to announce that it has signed with Century Media worldwide.
To celebrate the partnership, they have shared the video for the new single “Cyclone.”
This is the first taste of new music since last year’s DISTORTION, which arrived in September 2024.
“Cyclone” is about the war that often wages within oneself, with the band saying, “It’s about how an old version of yourself kept fighting you, especially referring to depression and how draining it can be to avoid turning back into that old version and trying to represent some sort of rebirth of yourself, focusing on the self-conflict. A cyclone tries to rip you apart and invade your peace and can be almost impossible to fight against.”
The themes of mental health, growing and healing, distancing yourself from past versions of yourself have long been a part of Future Palace’s music and that continues with “Cyclone.” The song’s energy effectively mirrors the effort it takes to prevent yourself from reverting to the old you that you would like to leave behind.
The band shares, “We used a sample with the word ‘amen,’ which started just as an and was later interpreted by as a sign of rebirth — amen and goodbye to your old self.”
It also boasts the most monstrous breakdown the band has ever put to tape.
