Fine – Portal

Copenhagen artist Fine shares humid, floaty single “Portal” via Escho.

“Portal” is the third in a series of singles from Fine. A big, soft bass and reverberating guitars hover in her expansive world. Vocals realistically and magically speak to someone or your inner self. The weather is humid; birds fly slowly above the forest; there are feelings that dance on the edge of freedom and melancholy.

The singles before “Portal,” “I Could” and “Run,” have carried on the dreamy spark ignited from Fine’s 2024 debut solo album, Rocky Top Ballads. The record established Fine as a key figure in Copenhagen’s alternative scene and brought her to the attention of an international audience.

Fittingly, this fall, she plays a run of sold-out shows across Europe and the US, including a New York group show at Knockdown Center with Smerz, Erika de Casier, and urika’s bedroom, while also announcing Earth Hackney in February 2026.
