The feel-good melody supports the bubbly fair warning to the ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend. The pep talk from “someone who has been there” red flags trouble on the horizon as chivalry fades and the tornado forms. The ebb and flow of orchestral and rock instrumentals fuel the “I told you so” notice.
