Iris Gold – André 3k

Iris Gold goes all-in on her musical crush with her new single “André 3k”, out May 23rd – just four days before the birthday of the song’s inspiration: the legendary André 3000 of Outkast.

The song is accompanied by a music video shot in Zimbabwe by rising Zimbabwean filmmaker Praise Nkala.

“André 3k” is a dreamy and sincere love letter disguised as a song. Iris talks about her year-long connection with the icon that started when she saw him in Outkast’s music video for “Prototype” wearing a short white wig and galactic charm.“I hoped I could be his Prototype,” Iris laughs, thinking back to that magical moment when she felt an instant connection.
