Today, New York singer-songwriter ROSIE returns with the empowering “Mr. Blue Jeans,” her new single out now via Arista Records. ROSIE uses this one to flip the script on being stood up; choosing to spend the night enjoying the company of the most important person, herself.

On the origin of the track, ROSIE shares, “‘Mr. Blue Jeans’ is about being stood up on a first date, but deciding to make the best of the night despite the unfortunate circumstances.  When I was young being rejected used to feel like the end of the world to me but this song represents what rejection feels like when you’re confident in who you are and you know your own worth. Mr. Blue Jeans is not about a boy who stood me up, it’s about standing up for myself when someone else refused to show up.”
