Following on from a busy 2024, releasing three singles to wide critical acclaim and hundreds of thousands of streams, Ines Rae is back with her vibrant brand of indie-pop. With an unparalleled creative momentum, Ines is gearing up to release ‘Breadcrumbs’, the first teaser from her forthcoming EP.
Combining romance-enthused lyricisms with dynamic pop hooks, ‘Breadcrumbs’ unfolds as an exciting, loved-up pop anthem. The new single explores the aftermath of a breakup, reflecting on lust and hardship with a potent pop prowess. “This EP symbolises all the things that are toxic to me,” Ines shares. “From how my mind messed with my relationship with food, how mean girls messed with my self-confidence and how boys messed with my head. I’ve called it breadcrumbs because even the tiniest bit of bread, as a celiac, is so toxic to my body. It seemed a fitting title for all the things in life that are also toxic to me. I’m so excited for Breadcrumbs to be the first single from this EP and I hope everyone loves it as much as I do.”
Following the release of her single ‘Someone Elses Heart’, penned biographically about her father’s experience, Ines was additionally named a celebrity ambassador of the NHS to promote the importance of organ and blood donation to a new audience. Her part in the campaign was a huge success, drumming up support from thousands of listeners worldwide, 40 million views worldwide, and even catching Kim Kardashian’s attention.
Aside from feverish support from the industry, Ines Rae has worked with the likes of Bastille and Fickle Friends and has written alongside prolific songwriters including Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga) Kal Lavelle (Ed Sheeran) and Adam Rust (Little Mix, Becky Hill, Nathan Dawe). For ‘Never Get It Right’, a track featured on the official soundtrack for the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated Netflix series Emily In Paris, Ines also worked alongside award-winning artist/producer Shura.
