Speaking on the story behind her new single, ISSA ODYSSEY shares; “When I was writing ‘chimera’ I really wanted to sonically capture that feeling of when you’re journeying home after a late night out, still a little high with adrenaline.”

“Lyrically, I was actually inspired by the experience of bumping into somebody you haven’t seen in years and feeling judged for your choices, like they’re holding their perception of you up against a past version they once knew. In many ways though, it’s also an internal dialogue between the you who rejects your vices vs. the you who indulges in them.”
