Miso Extra – Ghostly

The pioneering British-Japanese artist Miso Extra unveils her latest single, “Ghostly” – a sleek, R&B-infused track from her upcoming debut album, Earcandy. Co-written with the visionary A. K. Paul (Jai Paul, Jessie Ware, Nao), the song blends glitchy beats and hypnotic melodies with Miso Extra’s signature genre-fusing finesse.

With bilingual vocals set against production reminiscent of Janet Jackson’s sultry grooves and Solange’s atmospheric depth, “Ghostly” leans into the R&B side of her sophisticated pop sound. Written and recorded in summer 2024 with Grammy-winning engineer Ricky Damian (Ezra Collective, Jorja Smith, Sampha) at Damon Albarn’s Studio 13, Earcandy arrives May 16 via Transgressive.
