Tropical F*ck Storm – Goon Show
Melbourne’s genre-warping Tropical Fuck Storm signs to independent powerhouse Fire Records, marking the occasion with their latest single, “Goon Show”—a surreal, sharp-edged slice of their signature chaos.
In brief, they say: “Here’s a neat little jingle to usher in the dumb phone revolution of 2025. It’s time to downgrade and spend an afternoon or two outdoors away from our glasshouses. Meatspace is a magical land where we can all picnic and discover the things we have in common, away from Silicon Valley’s Angertainment Industrial Complex.”
The four-piece Tropical Fuck Storm began life when vocalist Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin took five from The Drones back in 2016. Joined by Erica Dunn and Lauren Hammel, they’ve released a string of critically acclaimed albums and gained a reputation for their incendiary live shows.
Tropical Fuck Storm are gearing up for a World Tour over the next year, including stops at End Of The Road Festival, Manchester Psych Fest, and an extensive run across the U.S.
