Sedona – Getting Into Heaven

Los Angeles-born and bred Sedona is never in one place for too long. After a whirlwind 2024, which saw her release new music and tour the U.S. as a solo artist and the lead singer of indie-rock band Drugdealer, she’s finally back in Los Angeles with new music on the horizon. Today, Sedona has announced her debut record Getting Into Heaven and has shared the album’s first single “Best Kept Secret” 

On the single, Sedona shares, “Music has always been the world’s most honest mirror – revealing us to ourselves. Today, songs often feel rushed, much like our way of living. We’re constantly scrolling and moving without actually connecting.” She adds, “I’m trying to slow down and hang out for a while. I wanna drink a strawberry milkshake on a friend’s porch and listen to the radio…to sit down and stay a while. We should practice speaking from the heart. That’s what ‘Best Kept Secret’ is all about – those small, freeing moments, like washing someone-you-love’s face in the morning sun.” 

Sedona will play a headline show in Los Angeles this Thursday, Jan 23rd at The Echo. Proceeds from the show will be donated to LA Street Care and Pasadena Humane Society, to aid those affected by the Los Angeles Wild Fires.
