Artist of the Month – September 2024

Margaret Chardiet released her first album Abandon in 2013 and it was a revelation. A mix of sound, voices and screams that draw the listener into a trance. Now after a 5-year hiatus Chardiet is back with Maggot Mass, her fifth full-length album.

Pharmakon is not for everyone. It is the definition of experimental and noise. For those who like it is a deep plunge into a sensory buffet that recalls such innovators as Art of Noise. The first single off the album is over 8 minutes called “Wither and Warp.”
