MICHELLE – Cathy
Today, MICHELLE shares “Cathy,” the third single from their new album Songs About You Specifically, due September 27th via Atlantic Records and Transgressive in the UK.
“Cathy” features the New York collective’s signature buoyant groove contrasted with amusingly direct lyrics about loneliness and longing. Speaking on the track, MICHELLE shares, “‘Cathy’ is a soft indie song about being alone after a breakup and leaning into all the thoughts and patterns you know you shouldn’t.” The song comes alongside a moody visual featuring Emma confronting herself in the mirror, Julian on piano, Charlie on guitar and Sofia, Layla and Jamee dancing somewhere in between reality and a daydream.
MICHELLE just finished touring with Still Woozy as support on his Loveseat Tour and will be heading back on the road for their headline North American tour, titled A Tour For You Specifically, launching October 30th. The run includes live dates in Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Los Angeles and more. MICHELLE will also be performing two more dates with Still Woozy in NY at Pier 17 on October 24th and 25th.
