KATSEYE – Touch

KATSEYE by Jane Kim

After making a bold entrance with their aptly titled first single “Debut,” KATSEYE returns with “Touch,” a song that reveals the group’s softer side. Delicate vocals from the six members are paired with dreamy ethereal tones as they ponder the complexities of love, wounded feelings and rediscovering one’s self-worth. The track was produced by Blake Slatkin, Cashmere Cat, Omer Fedi and Taka Perry.

In the official video for “Touch,” a citywide search is underway for KATSEYE’s Yoonchae who has reportedly gone missing. KATSEYE’s strong bond of sisterhood and vibrant performance shine in the video, which was directed by Cody Critcheloe (Demi Lovato, Kylie Minogue, King Princess) and shot in Los Angeles. Fans who look closely will spot a few Easter eggs that nod to the dream charms that symbolize each member’s unique qualities.

“Touch” is the second single from KATSEYE’s debut EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), scheduled for August 16 via HYBE x Geffen Records.

The EP’s title reflects one of KATSEYE’s core beliefs – Soft Is Strong – and also nods to the sisterhood they’ve forged, despite coming from immensely different cultures. The six members of KATSEYE are: DANIELA (USA); LARA (USA); MANON (Switzerland); MEGAN (USA); SOPHIA (Philippines); and YOONCHAE (South Korea).
