Halima – Ways

Today, Halima shares her new single “Ways.” The track will be included on her forthcoming EP EXU (pronounced Eshu), due May 24th via drink sum wtr.

On “Ways” Halima details the sensations brought on by a new love interest through her innate musical tenacity. Listeners are introduced to the new track with hollow drums engineered in such a way they seem to mimic the heart-racing feeling of intense lust. Across the song, Halima’s stunning dynamic vocals weave through with an easy strength. “You keep me up through the night,” she delivers the R&B hook above propulsive skitters and bursts before a bridge of echoed harmonies and synth notes smooth out the scene.
