Tragic Sasha – Prettier In Person
Today, rising singer-songwriter Sasha Gurney known better under her moniker, Tragic Sasha has released a glimmering new single titled ‘Prettier in Person’ to round off what has been a promising year for this emerging alt-pop artist.
Tragic Sasha shares where the inspiration for her new single came from: “This track is about your real identity versus your internet persona and wrestling with those two versions of yourself. The world is getting more and more digital and ‘Prettier In Person’ asks the question; is this a good or a bad thing?”
The release of ‘Prettier in Person’ comes straight after Sasha’s headline show last night at Servant Jazz Quarters in London. The show was her first live performance back since the pandemic and saw her performing to a sold out crowd to top it all off.
On this new track, Tragic Sasha displays a keen interest and focus on perception and image in the modern age, and all the distortion within it, which is both exposing and honest in a raw and refreshing way.
